5 steps to safer water reuse

The NovaClear™ Wastewater Recycling System is an Advanced Secondary system which integrates a tank and irrigation/ disposal area. Each must function with the other and be designed to do so efficiently. Irrigation areas can be aboveground (moveable or fixed sprinklers) or subsurface. This will depend on the site & soil evaluation done by a Geotechnical Engineer to suit the location.

1. Site & Soil evaluation
An on site meeting with a Geotechnical Engineer gives you the opportunity to discuss all the options available to you in terms of systems and irrigation choices. The Engineer will perform soil testing to determine how and where the treated water can be recycled on your property.

2. Design approval
The final design is written up in a report which is then submitted to and approved by your local council. We can assist you with this step and in many circumstances can do the approvals for you.

3. Installation
The treatment system must be designed and installed in such a way so as to comply with the current legal requirements, avoid public health risk and protect the environment. Eco Plumbing & Water Solutions install all systems under the direct supervision of a licensed plumber & drainer with many years experience in this field.

4. Commissioning & Certification
The final step in the completion of the project is the commissioning, which is the activation of your waste water recycling system. This can only happen after the plumbing and power has been connected and the irrigation area has been completed. Once commissioned a certificate of commissioning is forwarded to your local authority.

5. Technical service
The first 12 months service is free. Services are required every 4 months at present to comply with government regulations. At the commencement of every 12 month period it is required that a service contract is signed for upcoming year. The servicing will be carried out by our technician and a report given to you and a copy forwarded to the local authority.
After the first 12 months each service will be billed separately.
